Conference Details

Biostatistics and Bioinformatics have been playing a key and important role in statistics and other scientific research fields in recent years. The goal of this workshop is to stimulate research and to foster the interaction of researchers in Biostatistics & Bioinformatics research areas. The workshop will provide the opportunity for faculty and graduate students to meet the top researchers in a small group setting, identify important directions for future research, facilitate research collaboration.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS). Many statistics departments, government agencies, and industry companies in the US are affiliates of the NISS. If you are from one of these affiliates, you can apply for funding from the NISS in order to attend this workshop. The workshop is co-sponsored by the IMS, students and young researchers (within 5 years of PhD) attending the workshop are eligible for IMS travel grants. The application deadline is February 1, which is before the conference. Applicants can get the reimbursement after the workshop.
