Call For Papers: Topics in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research


Date: May 10 - 12, 2019

The keynote speaker is Dr. Samuel Kou, Professor of both Statistics and Biostatistics, the chair of Statistics Department at Harvard, and the recipient of the COPSS Pesident's Award in 2012. There will be invited talks by distinguished researchers, and a poster session by young researchers and graduate students.

In order to encourage graduate students and young researchers to conduct a cutting-edge research, we organize a poster session. The workshop will be providing partial travel awards to selected conference participants. Priority will be given to senior graduate students, post-graduate, recent Ph.D's, junior faculty, and under-represented groups. Check the application of travel award for young and minority researchers.

In order to disseminate the biostatistics knowledge in support of the workshop, we provide a short course during the workshop. The short course “Phase II Clinical Development of New Drugs” will be offered as a part of the workshop program and held on the afternoon of Friday, May 10, 2019. The short course is a half-day (four hours) presentation taught by Dr. Naitee Ting . For the current short course information, please see the Short Course
