Call For Papers: Topics in Big Data Analysis, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics
Date: May 03 - 05, 2024
The keynote speaker is Dr. Michael Kosorok, W.R. Kenan, Jr. Distinguished Professor, Department of Biostatistics, and Professor, Department of Statistics and Operations Research, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the current President, Institute of Mathematical Statistics. There will be invited talks by distinguished researchers, and a poster session by young researchers and graduate students. Click here for the conference schedule.
In order to encourage graduate students and young researchers to conduct a cutting-edge research, we organize a poster session. The workshop will be providing partial travel awards to selected conference participants. Priority will be given to senior graduate students, post-graduate, recent Ph.D's, junior faculty, and under-represented groups. Check the application of travel award for young and minority researchers.
In order to disseminate the biostatistics knowledge in support of the workshop, we provide a short course during the workshop. The short course "Tutorial on Deep Learning and Generative AI" will be offered as a part of the workshop program and held on the afternoon of Friday, May 03, 2024. The short course is a half-day (four hours) presentation, which is taught by Dr. Haoda Fu. The course certificate is provided. For the current short course information, please see the Short Course.
