The lectures will be based on this textbook mostly.
ALTERNATIVE TEXTBOOK: Abstract Algebra (3rd edition)
by David S. Dummit and Richard M. Foote, John Wiley & Sons Inc., ISBN 0-471-43334-9. This textbook contains the materials we cover in the course.

Exams
There are two midterm exams and a final exam, all submitted in hard-copy and all held at 325 Classroom South (CS).

Second Exam: 04/03/2025 (Thursday), in-class, 11:00am–12:15pm, .

Final Exam: 05/01/2025 (Thursday), face-2-face, 10:45am–1:15pm.
The final exam will be cumulative
with a slight emphasis on the materials covered after the second midterm.
