Syllabus

Description

Numerical methods for ordinary differential equations
Direct and iterative methods for linear systems
Numerical methods for boundary value problems

Prerequisites

Grade of C or higher in Math 2215 Multivariate Calculus or equivalent and the ability to program in a high-level language.

Textbook

Numerical Analysis, Burden and Faires, 10th edition. Brooks/Cole (Cengage Learning).
