Research in matrix theory and its
applications has blossomed in recent years. We
dedicate this workshop on matrix theory and
applications to Dr. Frank
J. Hall, in
celebration of his great contributions to
matrix theory research over the last 4 decades.
Dr. Hall retired from GSU at the end of
2019, but has remained very active in research.
The workshop will feature about twelve
invited 40-minute talks given by leading
researchers in matrix theory and its
applications. This workshop will bring
interested graduate students into close
contact with the leading researchers in matrix
theory, introduce them to some cutting-edge
research methods and results in the field,
and
provide a forum for GSU faculty and graduate students to interact with other
participants.
