Recent developments in positive characteristic techniques in commutative algebra:
Frobenius Operators and Cartier Algebras
Atlanta, GA
March 13-15, 2015

This meeting will bring together researchers who work on problems involving positive characteristic techniques in commutative algebra. Special attention will be devoted to the ring of Frobenius operators, Cartier Algebras and their applications. This commutative algebra conference continues the tradition of commutative algebra meetings started by the "Commutative Algebra in the Southeast" series. (For the most recent meeting held at Georgia State see the CAGSU Meeting . For other past meetings see past meetings in Southeastern US.)

Transportation: There is a MARTA station in the airport terminal that connects directly to Georgia State University. Take the North train to the Five Points Station. The campus is within walking distance from there. Campus map .

DINNER :A reservation will be made at Ted Montana Grill for Saturday, March 14 for a conference dinner, at each participant's cost, at 5:30pm. A confirmation is required by March 6, 12pm ET-please write an email to Florian Enescu by that time if you would like to come. The hotel is next door to Holiday Inn Downtown.
We will host a poster session on Saturday on research topics in commutative algebra. Those interested in displaying a poster should submit a title and abstract to the organizers by March 5, 2015. Depending of the demand and space availability, there might be a limit imposed on the number of poster accepted for the session with priority given to posters directly related to the subject of the conference.
Participants

We encourage graduate students and young reseachers to attend the conference. Please register for the conference and indicate the support needed there: *Registration Form* . The finanical support decisions have been communicated and currently all funds have been allocated.

Lodging info: A limited number of rooms have been blocked for the conference participants for the nights of March 13 and 14 at Holiday Inn Downtown Atlanta . Participants may call 1-800-535-0707 and ask for the GSU Commutative Algebra conference rate which is $89.00 per night. The reservation needs to be done by February 27 to secure a room at this rate. The hotel is about 15 minute away from campus by foot and near the Peachtree Center Marta Station (about 300 yards) that connects directly to the airport.

The meeting is partially supported by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University and by NSF award DMS-1507908.
